HOW TO FIND GRANTS &
CONDUCT RESEARCH

There is a website where you can search for science & health care grants (e.g., NIH-sponsored) that have been distributed throughout the years.
It's called REPORTER: https://reporter.nih.gov/
In the advanced search field on the bottom of this page, you can submit an organization's name, such as a local university hospital, and it will display the specifics of the awarded grant. Details such as the grant amount, principal investigator's name, and a rich summary of the research project, are listed.
This resource helps you understand what sort of research has been funded while providing insight on how others have applied for a grant.

Tip #2 - Analyzing & Research On
open-source data
YODA
As a researcher, embedded in a degree producing program (e.g., MS, PhD) or work institution, data from experiments or healthcare related assessments come easily. However, if you are not priveleged to data, you should consider YODA at:
Partnering with the YODA Project
This site offers data to be analyzed without having to enroll in an educational program.
